Enovis™ Launches DonJoy® Nextep Xcel™ Walker Boot Range to Support Foot and Ankle Recovery

Enovis™ announced the launch of the DonJoy® Nextep Xcel™ range, a new family of full-shell walker boots designed to support clinicians and patients throughout post-operative and post-trauma foot and ankle recovery. The portfolio combines streamlined design with established immobilization technology to help deliver consistent clinical outcomes while supporting patient mobility.

The Nextep Xcel range includes multiple walker configurations providing clinicians with flexible treatment options across a wide range of indications, including severe ankle sprains, stable fractures, stress fractures, ligament injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

A full-shell design offers circumferential protection and support, while breathable liners, adjustable strap systems, and ventilation features enhance patient comfort during extended wear. A rocker-sole base helps promote a more natural gait pattern and supports safe ambulation throughout recovery.

Selected models feature pneumatic aircell technology, enabling adjustable compression and stabilization to accommodate varying patient needs, while simplified sizing helps reduce inventory complexity for healthcare providers.
